The F-4F was a carrier-based fighter aircraft that served in the US Navy and the British Royal Navy through World War II. Although the Zero was more maneuverable, faster, and had a longer range, the F-4F’s toughness and its pilots’ clever strategies gave it a higher kill-to-loss ratio.
