B-17 Flying Fortress airplane bow tie in claret

This bow tie features the fast, high-flying, and long-range, the Flying Fortress. This warbird made a name for itself during World War II as it dropped more bombs than any other US aircraft during the war. Amongst the airmen it was valued for its toughness as badly damaged aircraft were known to make it safely back to base.
